  11. OK, I'll admit I'd almost given up in dispair with IBrowse - after
  12. having trouble downloading v0.67 from www.omnipressence.com and
  13. finding it didn't work, I got the next version 0.68 and also had
  14. trouble with that (can't find http library r2 or something).

  16. Anyway, for some reason it /does/ work now - AFAIK I didn't change
  17. anything, maybe a reboot did the trick?

  19. So for all those who got 0.67, why not put their web server to the
  20. test once more (aserve 0.4 I believe) and get release 3a/v0.68? :-)

  22. Forms seem to work fine now, with the exception that they don't seem
  23. to have the normal defaults for a given page - eg. Lycos's Search
  24. Options page (you're not seriously gonna ask the URL?!) comes up with
  25. 'AND' match instead of 'OR' etc. (of course I can change it I'm just
  26. lazy!)  Is this an 'evaluation copy feature' or have they not got
  27. around to it yet?  (sorry, can't be bothered to RTFM!)

  29. Tables - YES!!!  Things are looking very promising in this area -
  30. they only seem to have a frame drawn around the edge at the moment,
  31. but all the data's in the right place which is the main thing!  I
  32. tested it with a page I made which contains a fairly complex form
  33. within a table, which is itself within a table - no problemo!

  35. A lot of other stuff seems to have improved since 0.47(or so) - the
  36. internal image displaying is very tasty, and I'm pleased that
  37. imagemaps work now.

  39. Also the use of "alt=" for unloaded pictures is great - here's a
  40. feature Netscape should have!

  42. Well I'm sure there are plenty more delights for me to discover
  43. (though perhaps the odd bug too) in the latest release of IBrowse.
